3 Security Operations Center – MY & US (Urgent) Full Time

We’re seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) full time for our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Palo Alto, CA-based office hub. In this role, you’ll delve into the technologies supporting our Network, Cloud, Security, and eCommerce infrastructure. Additionally, there’s an opportunity to visit one of our U.S. warehouses to grasp the technology involved in fulfilling customer orders. You’ll collaborate with a team of Senior Cybersecurity and Corporate Security experts responsible for securing and supporting Shirlyn Technology’s global enterprise Information Technology (IT) and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Security Engineers/Analysts across Cyber and Corporate security functions.
• Identify, evaluate, and test new security technologies.
• Support in conducting technically advanced investigations into threat actor methodologies.
• Gather information from various sources, from the open-source internet to the dark web.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent advanced technology field.
• Passionate about technology, particularly internet and Cloud.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity technologies.
• Coursework or project experience in computer networking, computer programming, or related subjects.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Possess investigative and problem-solving skills.

Basic to Have

• Basic knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, or Cloud.
• Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
